Korean Language Proficiency Support for International Students

In order to improve the Korean language ability and motivate international students to excel at their academic performance, we operate the Korean language proficiency support system as follows:

1. Korean language proficiency improvement grant support

A. Eligible students: Undergraduate international students (excluding graduate students, exchange students and language students)

B. Details

※ Students who received a grant before the 2019 fall semester will receive KRW 100,000 for an improved score report.

C. Registration deadline: 2019. 12. 12(Thu)

D. Registration location: Office of International Affairs (Munhwa building, Room no. 111), 02-940-5014

E. Required documents: Application form, TOPIK score report, one copy of your bank account

2. TOPIK II Examination fee reimbursement

A. Eligible students: Kwangwoon international students (Undergraduate and graduate) 2019 TOPIK II candidates.

B.  Reimbursement

1) Reimbursement for 2019 TOPIK II Examination (62^nd to 66^th)

2) Reimbursement applicable round

※ 67^th reimbursement (2019.11.17.) will be made in spring semester of 2020

※ Only scores obtained after entering the university are accepted.

C. Reimbursement amount: KRW 40,000 (TOPIK Ⅱ test fee)

D. Application period: 2019. 11 .28(Thu) ~ 12.12(Thu)

E. Location: Visit Institute of International Education (Munhwa building, Room no. 117) to apply , 02-940-5306

F. Required documents

1) TOPIKⅡ reimbursement application

2) TOPIK II score report

3)  A copy of your bankbook
