According to the discussion results of our school’s COVID-19 emergency response team, we have made the following arrangements for the second semester of the 2020 academic year. Please be sure to pay attention to the following information.

3. Class operation details by courses

A. Experimental·Lab·Practical (Design, Project) courses: Based on offline teaching (T1), if some experimental/practical courses have theory experimental content, part of the content will be allowed to be taught online.

   1) Experimental/Practical courses classification: Courses are divided into experimental, practical, lab, and design classes, and the classification of each course in each department is reflected in the course registration materials to be announced.   

2) Computer practical courses in the computer room will be taught offline online (if the corresponding courses are major courses, 100% offline teaching is allowed). 

 

B. (Except for experiments, design, and practical courses) General theory courses with less than 50 students will be taught offline online every other week (T2, B1).

   1) All the courses will be taught offline online every other week: Details such as offline/online week for each course will be listed in the course registration materials (scheduled for mid-August).

   2) When conducting offline online teaching every other week, if there is a public holiday during the offline teaching week, it will be supplemented offline or online in the future.

 

C. (Except for experiments, design, and practical courses) General theory courses with more than 50 students will be taught 100% online (T3, B2, R).

   1) If there are more than 50 students in class, it will be taught 100% online.

   2) Realtime online video courses (T3) will be operated the same as that of the offline course syllabus. (eg: 3 credits class/ Monday 3rd session (75mins), Wednesday 4th session (75 mins), Total: 150 mins.

   3) If the recorded video course (R) is 3 credits, 75 mins will be the recorded video lessons and 30 mins of interaction with professor every week).

   A. 2020 Fall semester course registration period: 2020.08.18.(Tue)~2020.08.24.(Mon) 10:00~16:00, (Except Saturdays and Sundays)

   B. Course registration details announcement: Scheduled for early August

   C. Course registration materials announcement: Scheduled for early August

6. Common note: Depending on the situation of COVID-19, the above class and exam operation method may be changed.

- If the epidemic intensifies or there are infections in the school, 100% online teaching can be conducted as in the first semester of the 2020 school year.
