Cho Sun-young, chairman of Kwangwoon Academy, participated as a panel member in the "Global Leaders Forum 2020" and suggested the direction of education in the COVID-19 era.

The Global Leaders Forum is an event co-hosted by TV Chosun and Chosun Ilbo and has been held annually since 2013, and is an international forum where policymakers, businessmen and scholars from around the world gather together to find solutions to various problems facing Korea. This year, it was held at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong for two days from November 16 (Mon) to 17 (Tuesday), 2020. 

 

 

This year's event was held with a total of 6 sessions [Session 1]'Post-Corona, Change of Education Paradigm' [Session 2]'AI Education and Disruptive Innovation' [Session 3]'Post-Corona, Rapid Change of World Economic Leadership' [Session 4]'Precision Medicine and Future of Medical Science' [Session 5]'Bio-Medical, Dream of Prolongation of Life' [Session 6]' Robotic Society, Becoming Reality!'  

 

 

Cho Sun-young, chairman of the Kwangwoon Academy, participated as a panel member in "AI Education, Destructive Innovation" with Lee Ju-ho, chairman of the Asia Education Association, Ben Nelson, CEO of Minerva School, Paul LeBrand, president of Southern New Hampshire University, John Schwartz, president of global business development, Park Hyung-joo, president of Ajou University, and Chang Soon-heung, president of AI Co., Ltd.

 

"The role of education has become more important than ever because of the Corona Fandemic," Cho said. "With things that were repeated and predictable in the past no longer possible, a new learning system needs to be changed and everyone should try to accept it." She added, "It is more important than anything else to join forces so that these events, where policymakers and education leaders from around the world can gather to present a vision of society, can lead to changes in society without ending in a one-off event."

 

 

Meanwhile, at this event, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown gave a keynote speech.
