International Students Share “Love Lunch Box” To Elderly

International students conducted a volunteer service called “Sharing Love Lunch Box” for senior citizens living alone on Saturday, November 21. 2020. A total of nine students participated in the volunteer work conducted through a public donation corporation ‘Samgaksan Areumdaun Donghaeng’ which makes lunch boxes and deliver them to elderly people who live alone or have difficulty moving around.

“I hope that the elderly who are suffering due to COVID-19 will eat delicious lunches and give them a little energy,” said Pham Thi Hai Hguyt (22, Vietnam, Department of English Industry). He also said, “This is my first volunteer work since I came to Korea, and I feel like I did meaningful activities with my friends.”
