Visiting Professor Invitation Information for First Half of 2021

1. Invitation field and eligibility 

A. Department: Glocal Education Center

B. Invitation field: A native English teacher

C. Position: Visiting professor (Full-time faculty)

D. Personnel: 1

E. Eligibility:

- Holders of master’s degree or above in the relevant field (TESOL, English, English education degree holder preferred)

- Those who has no grounds for disqualification in Private School Act and the appointment of teachers at our university

- Those who have a personality and sense of mission as a professor

2. Required documents

A. Resume, Cover letter 1 copy each

B. Degrees and transcript (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D.) 1 copy each (However, Ph.D. is limited to the person concerned)

C. Certificate of experience and employment 1 copy each (only for those who apply)

D. Alien registration card (both front and back) and passport 1 copy each

E. Letter of Consent 1 copy

3. Application period: 2021. 1. 11(Mon) ∼ 1. 13(Fri) 10:00∼16:00 [Lunch time 12:00 ∼ 13:00]

6. Selection process

A. 1^st step: Document screening

B. 2^nd step: Announcement and interview

※ Only those who pass the document screening will be notified individually for the 2^nd step.

※ Individual contact of final successful applicant

7. Treatment and service

A. Lab assignment (1 room for two people)

B. Pay: 2.7 million won (400,000 won per month for housing support)

C. 16 hours of English training per week

D. Participate in a 4-week English program during summer or winter break

8. Other notes

A. The final successful candidate is scheduled to be appointed on March 1^st, 2021, based on the regulations on the specially appointed teachers of the university.

B. Not accepted if the documents to be submitted are incomplete.

C. Recruitment will be cancelled if there is any false information among the contents of the resume and submitted documents

D. The invitation may not be made of there is no qualified person in the field.
