Kwangwoon University Records 5.39:1 Competition Rate for Regular Admissions of 2021

Kwangwoon University (President Yoo Jisang) announced that as a result of the deadline for regular recruitment for new students in 2021, a total of 3,769 students applied for the recruitment of 699 new students, showing an average competition rate of 5.39:1 (within the quota)

In the 'A' group, 1,138 students applied for the recruitment of 247 general students with competition rate of 4.61:1, in 'B' group 405 students applied for the recruitment of 101 general students with competition rate of 4.01:1 and in 'C' group 2,226 students applied for the recruitment of 351 general students with competition rate of 6.34:1.

Among them, in group ‘C’ the Department of Convergence Sports Science, 231 students applied for the recruitment of 22 students with highest competition rate of 10.5:1 whereas, group ‘C’ Department of Environmental Engineering had 131 students applying for the seats of 16 students with competition rate of 8.19:1.

In addition, in humanities sector, a total of 98 students applied for group ‘C’ International Departments with seat of 11 students recording the highest competition rate of 8.91:1. Since then, in the Korean Language and Literature Department of 'C' group, 75 students applied in a recruitment of 12 students showing a competition rate of 6.25:1.

Kwangwoon University applicants for the school year will be announced on the university’s admissions website (iphak.kw.ac.kr) at 3 pm on January 29^th, Friday for all ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ groups.
