* Admission interview for overseas applicants will be done upon arrival in Korea after conditional admission based on document screening.

 

3. Documents for Application

(1) KWU application

※ 3 pictures, same as the picture attached to the application, are needed.

(2) Personal statement and Study plan (1-2 pages)

(3) Diploma(university, or expected graduation certificate) and Notarized Certificate of Diploma

- Applicant with master’s degree: transcript of university

- Applicant with Doctorate degree: transcript of university and graduate school

※ Applicants who present expected graduation certificates must provide final diploma before opening of the first semester. If not, admission will be cancelled.

(4) Transcripts (university)

※ Transfer students need to translate their transcripts in Korean or English.

※ Official Transcript should include GPA either in percentile or 4.5 scales. If there is no GPA information in percentile or scale, you should submit an additional supporting document issued by the university or please visit the following website.

▣ Notarized Certificate of Diploma : Submit after receiving from a government institution in the respective country for graduation certificate or submit after receiving or from the Consulate of Korea in the respective country

(5) Release of Information Form

(6) Copy of an applicant’s passport

(7) Family registration certificate issued by the governmental offices and each family members’ identification card.

(8) Financial certificate(The financial guarantor's certificate of bank deposit over USD 20,000)

(9) Attendance and Transcript Certificate of Korean Process(Only suitable student)

4. Scholarship

Students who hold one of below certificates

: TOEFL 500(CBT 179, iBT 61), IELTS 5.0,

 CEFR B1, NEW TEPS 259, TOPIK Level 3 or above

Students who submit certificate after admission are entitle to receive scholarship from the following semester.

30% of tuition fee

Students who do not hold above certificates

* The language test score is valid for two years from the submitted date. Only the original can be accepted.
