Recently, the number of criminal cases such as hacking, fraud, and defamation through the Internet is increasing socially. Please note that the following information is provided to each department to take preventive measures and ensure that the problem does not occur.

Related cases:

A) Hacking other people's SNS and Internet accounts for the purpose of interpersonal problems or display of skills, causing information and points to leak or account closure

B) Acts of gaining profits or defaming or insulting others through fraudulent or other false facts using gift cards or second-hand goods through e-mail or internet cafes, etc.

These cases are not resolved by simple fines or compensation and are subject to criminal punishment (imprisonment and fines) for violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection.

Please note that if such cases occur in the university, cooperation with law enforcement agencies such as searching for targets through IP tracking and investigation is inevitable.
