VISA Information for International Students
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, visiting the immigration office without a prior online reservation is prohibited. Therefore, please refer to the following information on visa procedures for students enrolled in the first semester of 2022.
 
■ Visa Extension
1. Application method
   A. e-Application: HiKorea (www.hikorea.go.kr) > Log in >  e-Application (Detailed information in

3. Notes
A. You cannot visit the immigration office without a
reservation (even those whose visa expires on the same day are required to make
a reservation, and waiting number tickets
are not issued)
B. HiKorea e-Application can
be applied up to one day before the visa
expiration date (Excluding weekends and public holidays)
C. Students whose academic background has changed (leave of
absence/dismissal/graduates) must leave the country within 30 days, regardless of their visa expiration date.
* However, if it is impossible to leave the
country due to the absence of flights, etc., you must apply for the “(COVID-19)
Permit for an extended period for the departure of registered foreigners” through the HiKorea e-Application!
(Required documents: Passport, 1 ticket with
departure date or letter of reason, proof of residence)
