Undergraduate Course Withdrawal

Students who wish to withdraw from some of the courses for the first semester of 2022 can do it during the withdrawal period, so please make sure to meet the deadline.

1. Course withdrawal application period: 2022.3.16.(Wed)- 3.25.(Fri), from 09:00 to 17:00

2. How to apply: Log in KLAS → 대학생활 → 수강관리 → 수강포기신청 → 신청사유 입력 및 포기신청 (Enter the reason for application and apply for withdrawal) → Courses will be deleted when the professor in charge of the course approves it

※ The approval period for the professor in charge is until March 27 (Sun). If the professor in charge does not approve or disapprove within the period, the Office of Academic Affairs will withdraw students from the course on the morning of March 28th (Mon).

3. Notice

a. The student cannot have less than minimal number of credits (12 credits) after the course withdrawal (application will not be available).

 From the first semester of the 2022, students in the expected graduation period (8 semesters, Architecture Division 10 semesters) can apply at KLAS if the total number of registered credits is 6 or more due to course withdrawal.

b. If you have 12 credits from the Kwangwoon credits from other schools (interchange with other schools, Chambit Design Semester, Foreign Korean Course, Bachelor’s Degree Linked Course), transfer students and extra semester students cannot apply for the course withdrawal at KLAS. Please send an e-mail to apply. (Due to the spread of COVID-19, we are accepting applications online only.)

c. How to apply through the e-mail:

1) E-mail address: education@kw.ac.kr

2) How to apply: Send by e-mail with  the following inofrmation:
your student number, name, and contact number, along with the name and number of the course you want to drop.

3) A confirmation letter will be sent after processing by the Education Support Team.

※ Students who are not eligible for e-mail application will not be accepted for withdrawal of course even if they apply through e-mail.

d. If you cancel after applying for the course withdrawal, it will not be processed, so be sure to check again at KLAS to see if your withdrawal request has been proceeded correctly.

e. You cannot register additional courses.

f. When using a public PC, please be careful about your private information (ID and PW).
