Cultural Experience for International Undergraduate Students 

(2022 Spring Semester)

Come and participate in a cultural experience activity where you can directly see Korean traditions and culture hidden throughout the city center. Our open-type tour bus will pass all the landmarks of Seoul, the capital of Korea. 

Route:

Gwanghwamun(광화문) - Myeongdong(명동) - Namsan Hanok Village(남산한옥마을) - Grand Ambassador Hotel (그랜드앰버서더호텔) - Shilla Hotel (신라호텔) - N Seoul Tower(N서울타워) - Hyatt Hotel(하얏트호텔) - Dongdaemun Design Plaza(동대문디자인플라자) - Daehakro(대학로) - Changgyeonggung(창경궁) - Changdeokgung (창덕궁) - Insa-dong (인사동) - in front of The Blue House(청와대앞) - Gyeongbokgung Palace. Folklore Museum(경복궁.민속박물관) - Sejong Center for the Performing Arts(세종문화회관) - Gwanghwamun(광화문)

 You can get on and off freely throughout the day, so you can get off at the desired stop and then re-board the next bus at any time while sightseeing.

1. Date: May 26th (Thu) 10:00 - 18:00

2. Location: Gwanghwamun City Tour Bus Ticket Office (광화문 시티투어버스 매표소)

- 68-2, Taepyeong-ro 1-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul (Subway Gwanghwamun Station, Line 5, Exit 6, in front of the Chosun Ilbo Building)

- Address in Korean: 서울시 중구 태평로1가 68-2 (지하철 광화문역 5호선 6번 출구 조선일보 건물 앞)

3. Eligibility: Any international undergraduate student enrolled in Kwangwoon University (only current undergraduate students, not graduates)

4. How to participate: Apply through the Naver Form→ https://naver.me/GjdVcTIN (selection is on a first-come, first-served basis)

5. Application period: May 16th (Mon) - May 19th (Thu)

(The Naver application form will open at 00:00 on Monday, May 16th. You cannot apply after the application period.)

6. Participation Fee: Free

7. Application cancelation period: May 23rd (Mon) 09:00 - 14:00

(Cancelation can only be done by visiting our office. No visits during lunchtime (12:00 - 13:00))

8. Notice

* Registration period is from May 16th to 19th

* Number of applicants: 45

* It may close early on a first-come, first-served basis. You can cancel your application by visiting the International Education Center on May 23rd (09:00 - 14:00).

* Those who cancel after the no-show or cancelation period cannot participate in cultural experiences for international students.

* Departure time and specific cultural experience schedule will be sent by e-mail on May 23rd at 15:00 only to selected applicants.
