Information on University Operation during the Foundation Day Anniversary

In commemoration of the 88th anniversary of the Kwangwoon University foundation, the university and classes will NOT be operating.

1. University holiday (closed): May 20, 2022 (Fri)

※ Relevant basis: Kwangwoon University School Regulations Article 10 (closed days) ① Regular holidays (Foundation Day) 

 2. Information on the number of class days

A.   Number of class days: 15 weeks or more each semester

B.   Please check the syllabus for each subject to see if classes are held during the school holidays and how classes are conducted.

C.   If there is a class loss due to school closure on the anniversary day, a make-up class should be provided.

D.   When classes are suspended, reinforcement plans and reinforcement confirmation must be printed out and submitted to the university education team.

3. Information on the issuance of certificates during school holidays (closed days)

A.   Due to the school closing for the foundation anniversary (May 20), fax and postal complaints related to certification issuance will be processed collectively on May 23 (Mon).

B.   Certificate Issuing machine: Hwado Building 1st floor, Hanul Building 1st floor, Library 1st floor, Nuri Building 2nd floor
