Prof. Kim Younghoon's Team Won the Best Paper Award and Best Poster Award

Professor
Kim Younghoon’s team in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kwangwoon
University received the Best Paper Award and 2 Excellent Presentation Awards at
the 2022 Spring Meeting of the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.
A
2019 paper published in the Journal of Industrial Engineering Chemistry (SCIE,
IF 6.064, Q1), the Society's English journal, was selected as the best-cited
paper of the year and received the Best Paper Award. Professor Kim Younghoon's team
was honored with the second award after winning the same one in 2020.

In addition, for the presentation
of the research results conducted as a project of the National Institute of
Environmental Sciences, master's degree research student Park Eunhae won the Best
Poster Award. As a result of the research conducted as a research foundation
project, Jo Sunhee, a master’s degree research student, received the Best
Poster Award.

Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry was established in 1990.
It is currently organized into 8 branches, 12 committees, and 17 specialized
subcommittees. As a major domestic society active, the English journal (JIEC)
published by this society is a rare journal published in Korea and is listed in
JCR Q1 in the chemical engineering field with a 2021 Impact Factor of 6.064.
