Kwangwoon University-Evertran Co., Ltd., DMT Labs Co., Ltd., and Korean Broadcasting Corporation

Signed a Service Contract for Interpretation·Translation Data Supervision·Statistics Management

Kwangwoon University's AI Translation Industry Research Center won translation data supervision and statistical management orders for 4 consecutive years with Evertran and DMT Labs. It was announced on the 16th that it had signed a service contract of 200 million won with each institution for 100 million won each.

The meeting under the cooperation agreement between industry and academia was attended by Park Cheol-hwan, Director of Kwangwoon University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Group, Lee Cheong-ho, CEO of Evertran, Kim Woon, CEO of DMT Labs, Lee Il-jae, Director of AI Translation Industry Research Center (Professor of the Department of English Industry at Kwangwoon University), and Professor Yun Ho-suk (Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies).

This contract is for "Projects 9 and 10: Broadcast Content Korean-English and European Interpretation and Translation Corpus Data" among the "2022 AI Learning Data Construction Project" promoted by the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT. Evertran Co., Ltd., and DMT Labs Co., Ltd. were each participating in the consortium as the host organization.
