Information for International Students on Application for Automatic Payment of Health Insurance Premiums and Electronic Notifications

  1. Due to the revision of the National Health Insurance Act Enforcement Regulations (Ministry of Health and Welfare Ordinance No. 783), from March 1, 2021, the medical insurance of international students is to be mandatory. Due to a lack of information and non-payment of health insurance premiums, international students are receiving various penalties (such as visa extensions and insurance payments limits)

  2. Therefore, to improve the convenience of paying health insurance premiums and prevent disadvantages such as limits of insurance benefits, we are uploading the application guide for automatic payment and electronic notifications. Please, check them out.
