The Opening Ceremony of Nowon-Gu Youth Space "Anteragit" was a Success! 

- Youth activity programs and study cafe space at Wolgye-dong

- Field and education programs such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), which are core competency technologies for the future era 

Nowon-gu youth space "Anteragit" (located in Gwangun-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul), run by Kwangwoon University consigned by Nowon-gu Office, had an opening ceremony on the afternoon of the October 22nd. About 70 people attended the opening ceremony, including Kim Jong-heon, president of Kwangwoon University, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Kim Jun-seong, chairman of the Nowon-gu council and district councilor, and principals of nearby elementary, middle, and high schools.

"Anteragit" is for teenagers near Kwangwoon University, where 2,700 people from 5 schools are concentrated in Wolgye. Around that area there are not many youth facilities and dedicated space for teenagers comparing to other areas in Nowon-gu. "Anteragit" was established, and operating to promote win-win development with the local community by providing various activity services and resting spaces.

Located in Wolgye 1-dong, Nowon-gu, "Anteragit" is the core of technological development of the future, such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and virtual reality experience (VR). It is a hideout (Agit, 아지트) space for teenagers created to enable career education according to high-tech industrial culture.

Anteragit is based on several strategic goals:

△ Future technology (robot, VR, digital drawing, IOT, etc.)

△ Anter Academy (coding robot, career search, etc.)

△ Healing space (study cafe, online game, board game, etc.)

△ Various programs such as counseling services will also be operated.

At the opening ceremony, President Kim Jong-heon of Kwangwoon University said, “Thank you for joining us on the journey to build a base where young people can develop their dreams and capabilities. To prepare a foundation for youth to grow into future talents through experience and education of future technologies. Youth who are at the center of future development face countless changes and novelties. In order to grow, Anteragit, which will be supported by the local community's interest and generous support, will become a playground, learning place, and healing place for young people, becoming a small but big bridgehead that connects the dreams of young people in the upcoming hyper-connected society.”
