Prof. Park Kyung-ae (Graduate School of Education) Won the Best Paper Award from Korean Association for Qualitative Research

Professor Park Kyung-ae (General Graduate School of Education, Department of Counseling Education) with graduate student (Kim Ji-ae) won the 2022 Excellent Paper Award in recognition of research achievements on the theme of ‘REBT Counselors Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis of Irrational Belief Formation & Change Experience’ at the ‘2022 Korean Association for Qualitative Research Conference and General Assembly’ held on December 3^.

Professor Park Kyung-ae has been exchanging research methodology for several years with Professor Jonathan, A. Smith of the University of London, who founded Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Furthermore, Professor Park Kyung-ae has also been continuously conducting qualitative research using IPA that explores the nature of human experience & meaning, the research was published in number of academic journals.

Meanwhile, the Korean Qualitative Research Society published the KCI-listed journal "The Journal of the Korean Qualitative Research Society," and Professor Park Kyung-ae won the Best Paper Award in 2022 followed by the Excellence Award last year.
