Tongyeong achieved third place in the 59th Spring University Football Federation

Kwangwoon University Soccer Team won the Fair Play Award after finishing in third place among 85 university teams from all over the country participating in the 59th Spring Collegiate Soccer Federation hosted by the Korea University Soccer Federation in February. 

As a result, the school's soccer team won the third place in the 58th Autumn University Football Federation held in August last year, and the Seoul national soccer team for the 104th National Sports Festival in Mokpo in October 2023 was selected as the best result.

Coach Oh Seung-in of the soccer team said, “I give credit to the Kwangwoon University soccer team players who did their best to the end without giving up in this competition.” “We ask for a lot of interest and support from the members of the school so that we can produce great matches and excellent results in various competitions to be held this year, such as the 2023 College Football U-League,” he said.
