Kwangwoon University Signs MOU With Seoul Technopark For Education And Technical Support, Industry-Academia Cooperation
 

Kwangwoon University and Seoul Technopark (Director Kim Ki-hong) signed an MOU on the March 24.

 

Through this agreement, both organizations plan to collaborate in Matters concerning education, technology and commercialization support, technology transfer, industry-university joint research, and industry-university cooperation for fostering companies in the Seoul area Matters concerning mutual infrastructure exchange (training center, curriculum, equipment and facilities, etc.) for education and industry-university cooperation in the field of ESG and digital transformationMatters related to mutual cooperation, such as fostering excellent startups, prospective entrepreneurs and venture companies in Seoul (mentoring, consulting, technical support, etc.) Other matters related to promoting cooperation for mutual development and friendship promotion, etc.

 

President Kim Jong-heon said, “I am delighted that Seoul Techno Park, which has been prominent in the recent hot topic of DX and ESG, and Kwangwoon University, an ICT-specialized university, are collaborating.” He also said,”We will fully support at the school level so that synergy can be created that will help mutual development in both periods.”

 

Director Kim Ki-hong of Seoul Techno Park said, “Through this MOU, we hope to recreate results as a highly effective project that supports a wide range of benefits such as education, consulting, and financial support with Kwangwoon University.”

 

Meanwhile, Seoul Technopark is an organization under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups with the basic goal of supporting local innovative technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises and networking between industry-academia-research institutes. It has a network of 19 bases, including STPs in 17 provinces and municipalities nationwide, and focuses on the semiconductor back-end process, specialized technical support and equipment operation support through professional FAB, and education business. Among them, it is operating a ‘digital platform alliance project’ that can strengthen cooperation in the fields of DX and ESG, which are recent issues.
