College of Electronics and Information Engineering Signs Contract With KCCI

The College Of Electronics And Information Engineering And The Korean Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Signed An Agreement To Foster Core Human Resources In The Field Of Electronic Information (ICT) And Semiconductor Technology Leading The Era Of The 4th Industrial Revolution
The
College of Electronics and Information Engineering (Dean Shin Hyun-cheol) of Kwangwoon
University and the Seoul Technical Education Center of the Korean Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (Director Kim Yeon-seon) signed a business agreement on
the 14th of last month.
Through
this agreement, the two organizations will ▲Participate in training to foster digital talents in ICT new
technologies and cutting-edge semiconductors and cooperate in job support ▲Industry ·Establishment and operation of academic
cooperative networking ▲Joint implementation
and mutual support of employment competency support events ▲Support for mutual development such as information exchange,
research cooperation, and public relations support ▲We plan to collaborate on other matters agreed upon by the
contracting institutions.
Dean
Shin Hyun-cheol said, “We will do our best to collaborate with the practical
education programs of the Seoul Technical Education Center of the Korean
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which focuses on the cutting-edge ICT and
semiconductor fields of the College of Electronics and Information Engineering,
to cultivate outstanding talent needed for the ICT industry in Korea.”
Director
Kim Yeon-seon of the Seoul Technical Education Center stated, 'We are pleased
to collaborate with Kwangwoon University, a leading university in the domestic
ICT field, and hope to achieve great success in cultivating ICT talent through
this partnership.'
Meanwhile, the Seoul Technical Education Center of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry is making efforts to provide education and training that meets the demands of the advanced ICT and semiconductor industry and to address youth unemployment and the manpower shortage of small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of its programs for job seekers' education, the center is operating a 4th Industrial Revolution training program that integrates advanced and high-level training courses to foster new technologies and highly skilled personnel. The center is also running a program to cultivate 4th Industrial Revolution leading personnel, which aims to produce highly skilled workers by responding proactively to the changes brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution.
