To commemorate Sweden's Day in 2023, Kwangwoon Academy (CEO Chosunyoung) invited Swedish Parliament member Ole Terrell and held a meeting to promote research and educational exchange with Swedish educational institutions.

During his visit to the university, Member Terrell met with President Kim Jongheon, introducing Swedish universities and discussing the expansion of synergy through educational exchange between the two countries. President Kim Jongheon expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for visiting Kwangwoon on Sweden's Day. We look forward to strengthening the cooperative relationship through expanded exchange between Swedish universities and our university."

Furthermore, Member Terrell visited Kwangwoon Elementary School, affiliated with Kwangwoon Academy, where he introduced Sweden to elementary students and had a special lecture and conversation on global leadership.
