The research team of Professor Tae-Jun Ha (Department of Electronic Materials Engineering) successfully created Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thin films with a Cobalt (Co)-based Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF), and successfully developed a triboelectric nano-generator which can generate sustainable power.  This research was published in 'Energy & Environmental Materials' (IF: 15.0, JIF ranking: 92.8%), the top-tier international academic journal in the materials science field published by WILEY, under the title 'Wearable Triboelectric Nanogenerators Based on Printed Polyvinylidene Fluoride Films Incorporated with Cobalt-Based Metal-Organic Framework for Self-Powered Mobile Electronics.' Meanwhile, the research was conducted solely by the research team of Professor Tae-Jun Ha at Kwangwoon University and was funded by the Mid-career Researcher Project of the National Research Foundation of Korea, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Moreover, the first author, Myeong-hyun Kim, achieved the remarkable feat of publishing a paper in a top-tier international academic journal within just three semesters of the master's program.
