Invest Seoul offers the "Foreign Startup School", a basic education program for foreigners residing in Korea who wish to start their own businesses in Korea. We welcome the participation of those who are interested.

※ Upon completion of this educational program, 25 points will be awarded as an optional item for obtaining the Ministry of Justice's Technology Entrepreneur Visa (D-8-4) (OASIS-4).

▣ Recruitment and Application

○ Target Participants: Approximately 30 prospective entrepreneurs who live in Korea

  ※ Submission of TOPIK Level 4 or higher is required as classes will be conducted in Korean

  ※ The participants are not able to take the 2^nd English classes of Startup School 2nd Batch at the same time.

○ Schedule

※ Completion Criteria: Attendance rate should be more than 80% (16 hours or more)

○ Education Subjects: Basic 10 subjects necessary for company establishment and operation

○ Education Method: Online classes (Zoom)

  - Attendance prohibited while in transit; classes must be attended from a fixed location without disturbance such as home or conference room

○ Tuition Fee: Free

○ Application Period: March 4 (Mon) ~ March 13 (Wed), 2024

  -  It may close earlier than the stated date if maximum participant numbers are reached, and for participants who drop the course after it’s started will be restricted from taking the course for 2 years

1. Go to Invest Seoul website (investseoul.org)

2. Prepare required documents and apply on the website

○ Required Documents:

      1. Application form (Title: Entrepreneurship University 3rd Batch_Name)

      2. Copy of foreigner registration card (front and back) or passport ※ Naturalized citizens: Copy of identification card, naturalization documents (basic certificate, etc.) 1 copy each

      3. Copy of Korean language proficiency test (TOPIK, KIIP, etc.) - for those with TOPIK Level 4 or higher
