Materials Engineering), Professor Tae-jun Ha, and Myung-Hyun Kim (master's program).
Myung-Hyun
Kim, a master's student, presented his research on "Self-powered sensor
system based on triboelectric nanogenerators” at the ICERE 2024 conference. In
the presented research, an improved performance of PVDF-based TENG was
implemented through the application and optimization process of MOFs,
successfully demonstrating a self-powered sensor system, and received the Best
Presentation Award at the ICERE 2024 for its excellence.
Furthermore,
Se-Ryong Park, a researcher in the integrated master's and doctoral program,
presented "High-performance transparent heaters for bioelectronic
applications." In the presented research, a high-performance transparent
heater with high transparency and improved output performance was implemented
using MXene and silver nanowires, demonstrating potential applications in
various bioelectronic fields, and won the Best Presentation Award at the ICERE
2024 for its excellence.
Meanwhile, at the ICERE International Conference, which celebrated its 10th edition this year, leading researchers, engineers, and scientists from around the world presented various research results related to materials and components in the field of environment and energy. Professor Tae-jun Ha serves as a member of the International Technical Committee evaluating the latest research trends and technologies at the conference. Additionally, researchers Myung-Hyun Kim and Se-Ryong Park are actively expanding their research to the next-generation semiconductor materials and fundamental technologies for electronic applications in the energy field, as well as displays and sensors based on semiconductor technology in Professor Tae-jun Ha’s research lab.
