The research team of Professor Jaeyoung Park from the Department
of Electronic Engineering at Kwangwoon University has successfully developed a
high-output triboelectric nanogenerator based on Ecoflex and
Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene (SEBS) with excellent porosity and
stretchability, as well as a power-free human activity monitoring sensor
utilizing this technology.

The research was supported by the government (Ministry of
Science and ICT) through the National Research Foundation’s Mid-Career
Researcher Support Program (NRF-2020R1A2C2012820), the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Energy's Industrial Technology Innovation Program
(RS-2022-00154983, Development of Autonomous Power Sensor Platform for
Low-power Sensors and Actuators), and Kwangwoon University's Excellent
Researcher Support Program. The research results were published in the Chemical
Engineering Journal by Elsevier, one of the world’s leading journals in
chemical engineering (IF: 15.1). Dr. Sohel, the first author, has been a
professor at Noakhali Science and Technology University, a public university in
