Kwangwoon University's Humanities Utmost Sharing System (HUSS) Project Group (led by Director Hye-young Lee) successfully hosted the "Global Symbiosis Career Connection and Employment Competency Enhancement: Meeting with Alumni" project on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Hanul Hall.
This event was part of the <Global Symbiosis Consortium Convergence Talent Consulting Program for a Sustainable Society> organized by the HUSS Project Group. Seven mentors, all Kwangwoon University alumni actively working in the fields of global symbiosis and sustainable society, participated as speakers. They shared their hidden insights into career preparation, employment experiences, and tips for becoming a convergence talent in various fields.
Over 90 students from the HUSS departments participated in the lecture, gaining an opportunity to go beyond theoretical learning to learn the essential qualities and requirements of convergence talent in the field of global symbiosis, which they could apply to their future career plans.
Especially noteworthy was the mentoring session held after the lecture, where students had the chance to ask mentors specific questions regarding career choices and development in various fields such as public policy, international relations, and law. This interactive session allowed for more in-depth exchanges, and participants expressed high satisfaction with the event.
Director Hye-young Lee commented, "This lecture provided an important opportunity to help students in their career preparation and to support them in growing into global talents that embody the values of a sustainable society. Through the Convergence Talent Consulting Program for a Sustainable Society, we aim to help students deepen their understanding of the concept of global symbiosis and support their growth into exceptional talents."
