Professor Kim Hyun-Kyung (School of Information Convergence, pictured right) of our university received the "Young Ergonomist Award" at the 2024 Fall Conference of the Ergonomics Society of Korea, held from Wednesday, November 13, to Saturday, November 16, 2024. Professor Kim was honored with the award in recognition of her outstanding research achievements and active industry-academia collaboration efforts, which have significantly contributed to the academic advancement and promotion of ergonomics in Korea.

In addition, Professor Kim was awarded a Commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety in June for her significant contributions to advancing digital government through UI/UX innovation. This recognition was awarded for her significant contributions to the enhancement of e-government services since 2023, including her active participation as a member of the Digital Platform Government UI/UX Innovation Evaluation Panel and as an advisor for the Digital Government Service Design Guidelines.

Since joining the School of Information Convergence at our university in 2018, Professor Kim, an expert in accessibility, UI/UX, and HCI, has been publishing outstanding research and papers in these fields.
