Paper Award
Undergraduate student Kim Yoo-jin (Department of
Electrical Engineering, pictured) received the Outstanding Undergraduate Paper
Award at the 2024 Society of Micro and Nano Systems Fall Academic Conference.
Kim Yoo-jin received the award for her work on developing
a microelectrode sensor designed to precisely monitor TNF-α, a key cytokine
responsible for inflammation related to aging.
Kim Yoo-jin shared her thoughts, saying, "I am
truly delighted to receive such a meaningful award through this wonderful opportunity.
I will continue to focus on research in this field and strive to achieve even
better results in the future."
Her advisor, Professor Lee Dohwan (Department of
Electrical Engineering), stated, "She achieved such excellent results
despite being only a second-year undergraduate student thanks to her relentless
effort and dedication, working tirelessly even during the vacation period. I
hope she continues to pursue her interest in this field with enthusiasm and
engages in further research."
